PS5 Games titles have upheld their dominance on the UK physical charts for the second consecutive week.
Thanks to summer sales and ongoing price-promoted bundles, a surge in first-party PS5 titles has propelled several to higher ranks, according to GfK’s report.
Benefiting from its inclusion in a PS5 bundle, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga ascended from No. 6 to seize the No. 1 position with a remarkable 116% surge in sales. This move pushed FIFA 23 down to No. 2, experiencing an 11% decrease week-on-week.
God of War: Ragnarok made a significant climb from No. 13 to No. 6, fueled by a robust 79% increase in sales. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Miles Morales leaped from No. 25 to No. 7, recording a substantial 113% rise. Gran Turismo 7 also gained ground, advancing from No. 21 to No. 8, accompanied by a remarkable 114% boost in sales.
In contrast, Pikmin 4 slipped to No. 9, witnessing a 38% decline in sales week-on-week. Remnant 2, which debuted last week, slid to the bottom of the charts at No. 40, marking a 47% sales decrease.
Elsewhere, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut experienced a resurgence, re-entering the charts at No. 33 with a robust 73% surge in sales. The Dark Souls Trilogy followed at No. 39, attaining a 32% sales increase.
